The BAYS Foundation works to strengthen programs and organizations that provide opportunities and increase access for under served youth to participate in organized sports in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

The BAYS Foundation awarded its first round of grants totaling $50,000 to five innovative non-profit youth sports and education programs targeting low-income children in the San Francisco Bay Area in December, 2009. The five recipients are East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT); Girls on the Run Bay Area; Lacrosse for LIFE; Oakland Community Pools Project; and Real Options for City Kids (ROCK). Each organization has been awarded a $10,000 grant. Read more about our program partners here.
