The BAYS Foundation works to strengthen programs and organizations that provide opportunities and increase access for underserved youth to participate in innovative organized sports and education programs in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

BAYS Awards More than $250,000 in Grants

In its first four years of grant-making, the BAYS Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to seven innovative non-profit youth sports and education programs providing opportunities for underserved children in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our seven recipients are America SCORES Bay Area; East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT); Girls on the Run Bay Area; Lacrosse for LIFE; Oakland Community Pools Project; Real Options for City Kids (ROCK); and our most recent grantee, KEEN San Francisco. In addition, the BAYS Foundation has made a $10,000 grant to the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (NCJLA) to provide financial aid to boys and girls who would be otherwise unable to participate in youth lacrosse.  Read more about all of our program partners here.
